Rod

Snr Pastor/Elder Rodney Hole

"It was back in 2009, that the Lord called me into full time ministry. I left my job, we sold many of our
possessions and bought one way tickets to Los Angeles. It was there that the Lord used my seminary
experience to further shape and transform me into the image of Christ. Being a father of three kids,
a husband and a pastor has certainly made me acutely aware of my moment by moment need for the Lord and His grace. I wholeheartedly concur with Paul’s words, when he states, “when I am weak then I am strong.” It is the Lord’s grace, mercy and provision that enables me to persevere and fulfill His will here at Village Church. My overwhelming desire is to see the saints grow and deepen their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and for the lost to come to know Him through the preaching of the Gospel."

Mal

Elder Malcom Crouch

"My name is Mal Crouch. I have been involved at Village Church all of my life. I am currently serving as an Elder. It can be a very challenging role but a great privilege to be involved in people's lives and serve alongside them. My heart is to see people become more like Christ and fulfil their God given potential. I love that the Church is God's way of saving the world, and that involves all of God's people giving their lives for the cause of the Gospel. My work is pretty demanding so spending time together and going on holidays with my wife and three young adult kids is something I really value."

Andrew

Elder Andrew Weston

My story is one of the grace and preservation of God. By His grace I first accepted the Lord at the age of 4 after an aboriginal Sunday school class in Townsville and then with more understanding at the age of 10 in Kerang. To date, by His grace, the Lord had helped me not to stray too far from Him - drawing me back by His mercy and forgiveness. I was blessed to marry Alison Hewes in 1996 and it was through our courtship that I became involved with Village Church. The Lord has granted me a love for His word and the joy of sharing it in children's ministry and also with the adults. We have 6 amazing children which means life can be chaotic at times. We have had our fair share of struggles but the Lord is faithful. I thank Him for the accountability, love and support afforded me by Village Church.

" I charge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom; preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke and exhort, with complete patience and teaching." 2Tim 4:1-2 esv
